Why is my recording smooth inside the elgato software and my while my recordings are laggy with obs?

Im trying to record a video on obs from my ps4 using the Elagto HD60s but for some reason it is just laggy. The recording drops frames and im unsure why. I've been messing around with the settings for hours but still can't seem to find a solution for this problem.

I have a AMD Ryzen 3700x with a GTX 1660 Super and the MSI B450 gaming plus max mother board.
