Why doesn't OBS play the same quality as the source video?

Hi guys! I'm having a trouble with some videos in OBS. The video in OBS Studio looks totally different from the source. The video file is .webm, when I play it in VLC the quality is better while in OBS Studio is poor in quality. Someone can help to solve this?

It looks like a color space issue, like maybe OBS is set to partial color space but the video is full, or vice versa

Try doing what he mentioned: OBS > Settings > Advanced > Video > change these Color Space / Range

Also make sure in VLC that you have not changed any color settings, sometimes a change made it gets saved for everything you watch on VLC. VLC > Tools & Filters > Colors. Just mentioning this to make sure VLC is showing the default colors in case OBS even with color space / range is not helping then it could just be that.
