Why doesnt OBS have service integration on Wayland in Linux?

As per the title. In X11, I get the niceties shown in the picture.

However in Wayland those do not appear. Even worse, they won't appear again if I switch back to X11 unless I log out and then log back in to Twitch.

Any idea why they won't work on Wayland and if it will be fixed?

CEF does not yet work on Wayland. Therefore custom docks are disabled. It is up to CEF to make it work on Wayland first.

Is CEF related to this? The article seems to imply that CEF has had wayland support upstreamed in 2019, unless I'm not understanding it correctly. Given that an additional 3 years has passed since, I'm thinking support would have even improved.

Well, nobody knows how to fix it currently I believe.

Try using OBS with Wayland on Nobara Project. That's a nightmare for me, since I have to use DroidCam instead of the OBS iOS Camera Source (unlike what I can do on Mint 20.3).
