Question / Help Why do i get bad encoding? Is it because of my processor?

Hi,
I’m trying to use this guys obs settings (240 fps, 1440p).

I don’t know Why my computer can’t run it.
I have a msi geforce gtx 970 graphic card
And a I5 6600k processor.

Is it Because of my processor?

and it only lags when i set the fps to 240, it runs smooth with 120

but when i use 240 fps it laggs and the video is unwatchable.
is it caused because of my cpu?

It's more a case of 240 FPS being a pointless thing to even attempt. Don't follow random youtube videos for advice. Use Tools / Auto Configuration to find suitable settings for your system.

I really want to be able to use his settings, cause it makes his gameplay so freaking smooth, i would gladly upgrade my cpu/gpu if possible, i have a high budget.

60 FPS is enough since 99% of your viewers won't be able to display anything higher. Most video providers (YouTube included) will transcode it to a maximum of 60 FPS anyway.

ik but when you record in 240 fps and then render it to 60 fps, it converts it and it looks very smooth, allmost looks like rsmb. like - https://youtu.be/NdwVku2rtmY?t=1m58s

Minecraft youtubers in my sice have simmilar settings or uses these settings.
