Why can't I install OBS on my MacOS Montetry?

I have MacOS Monterey 12.7.4, and I downloaded the Apple Silicon version where it says "The macOS release of OBS Studio supports macOS 11.0 and newer.." However, when I try to install my system says "You can’t open the application “OBS” because this application is not supported on this Mac."

Idk why this is the case. Is it bc it is not compatible or my system setting?

Does anyone face the same situation? Any solution? Big thanks

Is your Mac an M1 or any of the M series?

I have the same issue, my MacBook Pro is older, 2015, no type C port. But I run latest Monterey. When I try to drag OBS into Applicaiton folder and install it, I got error message, not supported. Looks like no one else has the installation issue.
