Question / Help Why are my OBS files .flv? Help!

This may sound very stupid, but why are my files .flv? I can't open them not and I don't know how to change the file type. I don't know if this is a problem with OBS or my computer or i'm just plain dumb. But could you please help? Thank You~!

FLV is safer to record than MP4. They are playable in most media players that aren't the built in Windows player. Try installing VLC or MPC-HC.
