Question / Help Whole computer lagging like crazy whenever OBS is open.

Just for context, audio is stuttering, I can't play youtube videos, and my mouse is lagging tremendously.

This started today, I have used OBS with these exact same settings for a few weeks or close to it.

I've tried updating graphics, restarting, running with different combonations of programs, and deleting my webcam and game captures, which were gone already when I made that log. I do not have to stream or record for this problem to be replicated, the whole computer is unusable while obs is open at all with any scene open.

Something is definitely overloading the machine. Try making a blank profile and a blank scene collection and see if it persists, or delete all your profiles and scene collections in case they have become corrupted.

C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\obs-studio

1. How did you find that the video source was the problem 2. Was the video source a camera or a capture/scene 3. What did you do to solve it
