When I stream I've noticed a white noise in the background coming from the microphone on my Siberia v2 headset. I use a laptop and after some searching I assume the problem comes from my sound card. Still, I'm wondering if there is any way to fix or reduce this noise.
I asked my friends and this noise isn't audible in Mumble or any of the other VoIP software we've used in the past. It is, however, just as loud when I make Windows loop my microphone out of my speakers. Is there some software/plugin that could block the background noise like Mumble does? Are there any settings I'm missing that could help?
