which version will work with W8.1

I intend to buy a new Dell desktop soon so I can use the latest OBS but until then I'm still using a W8.1 machine. Can someone tell me which version is the latest that will run on W 8.1?

27.2.4 or earlier.

I downloaded that and it wouldn't install- right away it said it requires W10. It would be nice if in the notes on each version it said what it requires.

OK, my bad- I downloaded the wrong version which is why it called for W10/11. Just downloaded 27.2.4 and it installed. So, a belated thanks!
