Question / Help Which settings to use when recording?

Hey, I really want to get ready to start recording my games with OBS. Unfortunately I can't get it to work and I'm not that good with the software yet.


My PC specs are:

-Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz
-RAM: 16,0 GB
-Operating System: 64-bit
-Graphics Card: AMD Radeon R9 200 Series


I hope you can help me with that information, I only want to record my footage and NOT to stream. I also want good and smooth quality.

simple output mode, indistinguishable recording quality, flv format, software low cpu use or AMD AMF encoder

These settings added huge black bars on the both sides. :(

No they didn't. Your own resolution selections did (between your game and obs)

My resolutions are exactly the same, 1920 x 1080.

I used autoconfig wizard, seemed to work decently. ;)
