Question / Help Which music player do you use for streams?

I keep my Desktop Audio to 100% in OBS because I use it to record party chat on Xbox One's Windows 10 App. I also play music and I've been using Winamp with the volume set to 1 but it still sounds pretty loud. Is there a better music player for volume adjustment perhaps?

I use Foobar2000 for most background music. With the NowPlaying Simple plugin, it's also easy to have it write out the current song to a text file, that you can then have OBS watch and display on-cast, or hook something like Ankhbot to provide a !song command in-chat to list out the currently playing song.

Also provides some handy visualizers that can be chromakeyed for on-stream effects during AFK breaks.

Foobar2000 + Snip (extra software, not an OBS plugin) to grab the track name.
The second one that i can recommend, is AIMP, from Russia with love - great small player that is pretty close to Winamp.

If you want to adjust the Volume further, you can go the extra route and do some magic with a mixer (software or hardware), but Foobar2000 actually offers a decent volume control slider that can be adjusted in small steps via the scroll wheel (mouseover), thats why i love it. No big jumps when controlling the volume.

it would be cool if there will be a plugin where u can use foobar2000 with ankhbot or another chatbot for requests that loaded directly into foobar
