Question / Help Which CPU??

Dear people,

So I'm thinking of buying a new CPU for streaming.
My budget is capable of buying an i5 3570k. I want the quality of the stream to be as high as possible. On this forum I've read a lot about having an i7 is ideal for streaming. The i7 3770k is the one I'm looking into aswell.

Is it really needed to get the i7 3770k over the i5 3570k for 1080p streaming?

Ps. I'm going to stream Hearthstone and League of Legends.

An i7 will definitely help a lot. Is it needed for 1080p streaming? You can probably get away with 1080p for games that aren't terribly demanding. Hearthstone, fortunately, is pretty tolerant to having a low frame rate. LoL could go either way depending on other factors that are hard to predict.

If you can afford the i7, definitely get it over the i5. The difference is pretty drastic.
