I was adding a new window capture element and inadvertently altered an established window capture element. I am very new to OBS so whatever solution is provided, keep in mind the end-user (me) is relying heavily on OBS support to throw me a lifeline.

As for the latter portion of your comment, I'm not entirely sure how this comment applies to the question. (For the record, I'm currently using the ' mkv ' record format.)
