Question / Help where did the audio codec go?

Hi, so I just installed the latest obs on windows 10 and when I record there is no sound.

So I looked up the issue and apparently it's common with mp4 and mp3 being in the same recording and that it is highly recommended that I switch to AAC.

But I cannot see any option to change it to AAC, so I cannot change to see if it works, I've made sure the sounds is actually being picked up and it is correct devices etc. Also tried different video formats, I'm stumped on this one, any help appreciated.

It's aac by default

hmmm.... then what else would possibly cause it to not have sound? I'll upload a log file

Never mind, turns out that the media player in win10 is just complete garbage
