Where did more advanced encoder options go?

Hi there!

After updating my OBS Studio after months of not updating it my AMD Encoders lost pretty much every more advanced options like max bitrate while recording VBR or the cqp setting.

Is there an option to enable it again or do I have to use AMF/FFmpeg options exclusively?

Well that kinda sucks. After trying it out without beaing able to fiddle with more options it produces a much lower quality result than before.VBR became unusable without beaing able to set te maximum QP level. Even on higher bitrates like 40K Kbps it can produce artifacts when most of the scene is still, but there are small things moving. It looks like it wants to dial the bitrate down too much, that's why I miss the cqp options.

Is there a plan to increase the number of user options again to what it looked like before the update?
I'm on the newest drivers using 6900XT btw.

Probably not. Additional parameters, such as qp_i, qp_p, will have to be added independently in additional parameters. You can also revert to an earlier version of OBS or use HEVC for recording.

"Additional parameters, such as qp_i, qp_p, will have to be added independently in additional parameters." so is it possible to add them to the current newest OBS version? If so then how? Current OBS is competly unusable because of lack of those options. Only way for me to not get some weird compression artifacts is to shoot with CBR, but then my video file sizes are enormous.
