Question / Help When recording a game obs's recording fps drops and video is laggy

I had to reset my pc recently and I reinstalled OBS but now on the newest version of Windows 10 the recordings are laggy. Turning off some settings in the game bar and windowed mode in the games help a bit but not enough. I have included some footage as an example. The first one was with the game bar turned on the second one is with it turned off the first one was around 10 fps and the second around 20 but you can see from the steam fps counter the game was running over 150. I also used the auto configure for my OBS settings.
