When I install OBS, I am prompted the intro to the installation, then it says 'Your computer is missing runtime components etc" but then when I check.. I Already installed these components, I've installed obs before on windows 8.1, then upgraded to windows 10 then uninstalled it then attempted to reinstall it. Please help!

*ALSO YOU CAN'T GET A LOG FILE IF ITS NOT INSTALLED YET*

Hey Clash I just got mine to install! This is exactly what I did

1. Uninstalled all of the Redist packages except 2005

2. Downloaded and Installed the 2010 redist x86 from Microsoft
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=8328

3. Downloaded and Installed the 2013 redist x86 from Microsoft
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784

Once I did that the OBS installer ran. Please let me know if this worked for you. I was downloading and installing the redist x64 so I imagine the x86 was the difference.

You need both x86 and x64 versions of the runtime components. Not just one or the other.

@WizKidWord For future reference you don't need the 2010 runtimes at all. You do need to install both x86 and x64 versions of the 2013 runtimes.
