Hey guys i need your help OBS is getting my GPU temp high when I'm playing game:the forest my GPU temp is around 50° - 60 but when I start to record it with OBS it goes aroun 75°-78 I'm recording at 1080 with 30 FPS on OBS I tried to lower my resolution in game and from high to medium but it didn't work I guess it's OBS setting because GPU is new and cool in other games can you guys help me to lower the GPU temp I know 78 is somehow safe but I record gameplay around 6 hours and it can harm my GPU my GPU model is Asus gtx 1660 pc 6g. Thank you

real-time video encoding is demanding. The 1660 has NVENC,
also, you have audio sampling at 2 different rates... strongly recommended against
that log doesn't show many minutes of recording/streaming, right? so some details missing from log
Am I right that you are using NVENC to offload encoding to GPU? is so, it makes sense your GPU would run hotter as you've given it more to do. not being a gamer, I can't comment on the temps and whether those temps expected or reason for concern

at quick glance, I don't see any OBS setting that jumps out at me, but again... not a gamer... so I'd recommend following the recommendation here (especially the part about including a session, multiple minutes is my advice)

Another thing is when I record with my CPU my CPU temp goes around 50 to 60 do you recommend that I use CPU instead of GPU for recording?

I think I'm having the same issue, I just upgraded from a 1060 to a 2060, I could stream on my old GPU perfectly without a large bump in temperature. But with the new one, just having OBS studio open, not even streaming or recording, it goes up to 77C. Even without a game running at all.
