So im trying to set everything up im new to OBS. When i talk into my microphone its clear but a few seconds later i get the echo of my voice in desktop audio and then it just loops and defens your ears. Also when i start a game the desktop audio loops the game audio and im trying to stream to twitch and its just crazy. i dont know how to separate it so when i talk into my mic it doesnt loop or echo obviously and also i want the same thing for my game audio. Help me please.AND when im in discord with my friends their voices echo and loop through the desktop audio.

Go to your advanced audio settings (click one of the gear icons in the mixer). Check if you have any of your sources set to anything other than "monitor off". If so, that's likely your problem -- any audio source that you have set to be monitored is going to output that audio directly to desktop audio.
