This appears to be true, my mistake. Though I thought I saw my card use PCIe x8 when it was in a low power state, and x16 when under load one time... Must have been dreaming.

even if i do the test or i start a game, it doesn't change anything :/

Have you looked into Bios about any settings for it. It just thought to check to see. Also if have not looked already
manual see if that helps with anything.

updated bios too
