Question / Help What's the best I can Do with my Internet/PC?

I mainly will be streaming PC/Xbox One. I would just like to know whats the best settings I can do with my current Internet and computer.

Now my internet is 5.8mb/s down and 0.7mb/s down
I know the Up is really bad.

Now my PC is as Follows:
  • CPU: Intel 7 4790K 4GHz

  • MOBO: Asus Sabertooth Z97 Mark 1

  • GPU: 2x MSI GTX 970's

  • HDD 1: Seagate 500GB (windows 8.1)

  • HDD 2 WD Caviar Blue 500GB( Windows 10)

  • HDD 3 WD Caviar Green 2TB (Games)

  • HDD 4 WD Caviar Green 2TB(Recording Drive)

You're purely internet limited for broadcasting. Your upload is total of 820kbit on that test.
Following youtube's guidelines, you're stuck at 480p for video at best.

For local recording only, you'll be able to do 1080p60 fairly easily. (between quicksync on the CPU and nvenc on your graphics cards, you'll be able to do the recording with little to no cpu use)

thanks for the info - what is the best settings you recommend for local recording?
i easily upload 1080p60fps on youtube

so i can stream at 480p?
 
You can probably stream at 480p.

Anyone can do manual uploads to youtube at 1080p60 because the speed it gets to youtube is not as important as a live broadcast is. Broadcast has to get there as fast as the video is produced (which puts the minimum upload speed you need to do a live broadcast at equal to your video bitrate plus audio bitrate plus a little bit for overhead.
