Question / Help What's going on with Remux?

I've remuxed my mkv files to mp4 a couple times now, no problem.

Tonight (and I have made no changes whatsoever to OBS), I try to remux a recording to mp4 and it "finishes" instantly and says 'Recording reumxed, but the file may be incomplete' and sure enough, the target file is 0 bytes.

Why is this happening?

Sounds like a problem with your source file, does that play in vlc?

sure does. plays great too.

oh well, i decided it's not worth my time remuxing to an mp4 to edit in hitfilm. now I just handbrake/convert it to mp4 so it's condensed, great quality and ready to upload to youtube. thx though

Thank you for this. I suddenly have the same issue with my FLV files from today, though they were fine for the rest of the week.
I've been streaming every day and those files always converted just fine...
