I do some tests and i wanna know your opinion what settings is bet and what is more watchable. If different is see in big way or only in a low way if you can understand me.
Here are tests 720p vs. 540p @ 48 FPS

[H1Z1 - 720p @ 48 FPS / 2300 Bitrate / 0,051 bpp](https://www.dropbox.com/s/vpv1i3ayr...48 FPS - 2300 Bitrate #1 - 0,051 bpp.flv?dl=0)

[H1Z1 - 540p @ 48 FPS / 2200 Bitrate / 0,088 bpp](https://www.dropbox.com/s/ubbtvfsugpm9l7o/H1Z1 - 540p @ 48 FPS - 2200 Bitrate 2- 0,088bpp.flv?dl=0)

So what you thing? Its better to download video and dont watch it on dropbox. My winner is 720p @ 48 FPS with low bitrate becase yes 0,088 bpp vs. 0,051 bpp is a huge different but ingame it seems it isnt that huge different and 720p is just prettyer.

If you plan to upload the stream to youtube, 720p has the additional advantage of being 720p on youtube aswell.

Also, additional x264 parameters and CPU preset are just as relevant as bitrate, what CPU preset are you using? Any additional x264 parameters?

BTW, why 48 FPS? 30 FPS is a bit more standard, and will give you better quality for the same bitrate. It's not really a big difference, so if you personally like 48 FPS over 30 FPS then no problem whatsoever.

using veryfast, no additional parameters

60 FPS is too high for this bitrate and 30 FPS is for high motion game not enjoyable.

540p @ 48 FPS got a better bpp than 720p @ 30 fps 2200 Bitrate .. and really 40-60 FPS is enjoyable for high motion game.

30 FPS is typically enough for video. The 30 FPS vs 60 FPS difference is much more apparent when playing a video game. Still, 48 FPS will be a bit more fluent.

Can your computer handle "faster" preset? It'll use more CPU, but give better quality aswell. Also, using "high" profile can have positive effects aswell.

Other than that, I'd recommend going with 720p. At a bitrate of 2400 it's definitely an acceptable resolution.

In that case, I don't see anything to improve in your settings. Stick with the 720p 2400 bitrate one and you should be okay. If you're ever unsatisfied with it later you can always adjust it then.

I'd stick to 30fps or 60fps, none standard values like 48 will provide a marginal increase in fluidity, but will reduce overall video quality. I would highly recommend sticking to 30fps if you are not happy with the results at 60fps.

I'd second just staying at 30FPS, or going up to 60FPS and using superfast preset with rc-lookahead=10 if you absolutely must. Once again, FPS doesn't make even close to as big a difference when watching a video as it does when playing a game.
