Hi guys, I recently upgraded my internet to faster speeds so that I could stream, so as far as that goes I am fine, but whenever I do try to stream at a good quality, my fps gets pretty bad in game. So what would you suggest that I should upgrade on my computer?

These are my current specs:

  • Computer
    Hewlett-Packard
  • CPU
    AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 630 Processor
  • Motherboard
    FOXCONN 2AB1
  • Ram
    8.00 GB
  • Storage
    698GB Seagate ST375052 8AS SATA
  • Video Card
    ATI Radeon HD 4600 Series
  • Soundcard
    AMD High Definition Audio
  • Power Supply
    LITEON PS-5251-08
And the model number for my PC is p6654y.

I don't want to go super crazy because I am on a budget, max I could spend is $280. Any help is much appreciated!

1st of all, May I ask for your internet speed, I've heard of a lot of people thinking, that their internet is good cause they upgraded, but it still isn't great. I'm not calling your internet terrible but, I would like to be the judge of that. (I need the upload and download)

2nd, I will be a little critical. Your pc isn't very good. And a max budget of 280 dollars, isn't going to do much, personally if I was some tech friends of yours, I'd tell you not to get it at all, if your budgets that low, and save your money. Honestly it wouldn't be worth it. And I presume your building it?

I'm sorry but I couldn't recommend any pc for that price range.

lets say it this way

cpu - at least an intel i5 or some xeon since its in some price range(probably haswell) or some fx8xxx from amd
mb - either 1150 for intel cpus for around 70bucks or am3+ for the amd fx series
gpu - gtx 750ti would be enough or some amd r7 260x

as far your psu goes .... a gtx 750ti as gpu replacement would be the best since the 750ti gets its whole power through the pcie lane and doesnt need any special 6 or 8 pin pci connector from the psu so your current whatever wttage psu should be enough

intel

amd

the gtx 750 ti would currently be at around 115-120 bucks instead of 100 for the r7 260x
