Question / Help What streaming settings do I need?

Hi,

I've been having issues knowing what settings I can stream at. Right now I'm streaming at 1800kb/s.

Can someone give me some help like the maximum I should be able to stream?
I mostly play shooting games, with fast movement. No 1080p streaming trough but I really want to know if I'm able to do it.

In theory you could go up to 8000 kbit. But we have two factors that help us select our maximum:

• Never use more than 80% of your Upload
• Currently around 3500kbit is the Maximum most streaming services and viewers will like, if you stay below this value, more viewers are able to watch

So 1800 is already a good start. If you want to improve the quality, see if 2000-2500 is already enough, or you could also check if you can increase the compression for example.
