Question / Help What should my bit rate and buffer size be ?

I have 92mbps download and 12mbps upload with an above average gaming pc.I have tried several different bit rates and it is choppy like chopsticks.

2000 is about the most you need for 540p30fps.

I would also suggest lowering webcam to 720p or less.


please also run this test for your region and post screenshots of the results.

this will help you see exactly what your ISP can do to twitch so please only run the test by itself.

EDIT: for viewer purposes, 2000-2500 is about the max you should go.

just as a sidenote since dping pretty much suggested the most obvious issues already.

your hardware is quite below the average gaming pc especially your cpu but the gpu is "okay"
 
I can run any pc game on max settings with no problem and have great internet. I'm just trying to stream at 30fps at 720p. I'm not sure how I can lower the resolution of my webcam

manually set it to 1280x720 by double-clicking on the video capture device you made for the webcam.

as you running it with no problem, I doubt your stream looks good due to all the duplicated frames but that might be from the webcam res being to high (pretty common). then post another log after you've streamed for 5 minutes or more but make sure you are moving around in game.
