Hello,

I've got a question about streaming League of legends.

When i try to get HD quality on my stream it always fails in the way of lagging hard.

I know my internet connection is more then enough. its 50/50Mbit fiber.
I know that my PC aint the best one these days. What i would to know is what to upgrade to get HD quality on the stream.

The specs of my PC are:

AMD Phenom 2 X6 1090T processor 3,2Ghz 6 core
12 GB ram
Nvidia Geforce GTX460

I think my processor and video card is outdated. Could someone recommend me what to get?
I really dont know what to get to get my stream smooth.

Thank you for your help!

I don't have much experience with processors however your running a 3.2Ghz 6 core and im running a 2.8ghz quad core (intel) you should easily be able to do 720p considering I can. Now i don't know how amd vs intel effects performance with OBS. your upload is great and shouldn't cause you issues. your graphics card is slightly lower than mine (i'm running a gtx 470) Again it doesn't seem to me that should be your bottleneck. What settings have you tried using maybe post a log of your attempted stream so we can see what you set the res to, the fps, the bit rate, and other settings used so we can make recommendations from there.

Honestly, that should be more than enough hardware to stream LoL in HD. Post a log please so we can see where exactly you are being bottlenecked.

Well, you added a monitor capture source to the same scene as game capture, that will really slow you down. Monitor Capture is horrendously slow on Win7. It's best to put it on a separate scene, and use the scene switcher plugin (which you can find in the Plugins forum under Works In Progress section)

You should be able to do just a 1.25 or a 1.5 downscale at 30fps with that set up. You may consider lowering in game graphics to alleviate some of the burden introduced by streaming. You weren't dropping frames even at 3500 bitrate, so your internet connection is clearly solid.
