Howdy all. So i've nixed the Laptop as a stream PC.

The question i have is simple. I have 3 choices here and looking for the best quality stream possible given my current hardware. what combination would you all recommend for the best quality and smoothness?

Gaming PC-
i7-8700k
z370 tomahawk
32gb ram
gtx1080ti

Potenial stream rig?-
i5-3750k 4.8
z77a-g45
16gb ram
gtx970

The question i have, should i use the other PC? will it do the trick? Also, if im going to use the second pc, i DO have an Elgato HD60, the og HD60 with built in encoder. Not the newer S or pro models. Do i use that to connect the two or go with NDI?

OR, do i simply just game and stream from the main PC??

what do you all think? Thanks a million! Streaming to mixer by the way, if that matters.

Ivy Bridge i5 mostly tops out at 720p60 on medium preset maybe already on fast which means the quality gain over using NVENC on your gtx 1080 ti is neglectable for the extra you have to put in to get capture cards properly working etc.

Also if you are using a high refresh monitor its most likely the case that the capture card is too old and only supports an old HDMI standard which is hardware limited to only 60hz
