Hello, these are my specs:

I5-6400 2.7GHz
Gtx 950 2gb
8Gb ram

I don't want to stream, only upload videos to youtube, what settings should I use? when I started recording with obs, the video quality was perfect but then I messed up the settings and I've been trying to fix them but it always looks bad or laggy, what settings should I use for recording (not streaming)? Thanks

btw: people tell me to send a log file but i dont know where to find one

I'm using:

- Nvidia NVENC
- 5000 Bitrate
- 10 Quality
- No CBR
- Custom cache at 0
- MP4 File (I cant reproduce FLV files)
- 1920x1080 30 Fps
- Automatic NVENC
- 0 Keyframe interval
- Main
- No CFR

And it looks horrible

Change the output mode at the top of settings -> output to simple output mode, then apply the settings I gave you.

And there is literally ZERO reason to save directly to mp4.

You really need to LOOK at settings - output after you have set the output mode at the top to simple. The settings explain themselves from there.

Use VLC to watch recordings from OBS.
