Question / Help What settings should i use?

what bitrate should i use for an upload between 4.12 and 4.25. i have it at 3000 right now and i dont drop frames and it looks alrite. is 3000 good for me? also i have my quality set to 10 and i was wondering if thats worth it or if i should just set it to 7.

And make sure to do a upload test of the 33mb file size. This will give you your real upload speed.

Also You should post the specs of your computer since the can bottleneck your stream as well.

If you can do 3000 and you don't drop frames then you have a pretty nice bitrate. Can do 1080p at 30-45fps and 720p at 60fps very nicely. If you want to test your limits, then increase by 100-200 increments, try again, and repeat until you find the highest sustainable bitrate. Make room for the multiplayer games though as well.

You do not necessarily have to use the tools to figure out what you can handle. Just experiment with the settings. Worst case, you drop frames, and have to stop and lower it again.

i drop frames randomly at times with 3000 though there is no lag ingame or instream. sometimes i stream and theres no droppage in frames and sometimes there is though when there is i dont have any lag in game or instream. my pc specs are

i5 3570 3.4/3.8 turbo ghz processor
8 gigs corsair ram
gtx 660ti graphics
asus p8-z77 v lk motherboard
