Hello! i want to ask u guys for CPU.
I have now q9500@3,8 GHz but this CPU cant handle stream at 1080p 30 fps can lagg some games but 60 fps killing this processor.
I want to stream League of legends at 1080p and some other games like WoT and Diablo3, also smth like FarCry3.
Would be nice if CPU handle 1080p@60FPS but i know it gonna be hard so 720p@60 fps should be fine for me.
My question is, the i5 2400 would be good? or FX 8320? or mby i should wait some more time and take the i7 2600k or 2700k? Can someone tell me something about streaming with fx8320? can this cpu handle for example LoL with 1080p@60??

Forget about 1080p60fps if you're planning on streaming to flash player or with a limited bitrate.. in general and if you can it's best to stream games like lol at 1080p30fps and those others at 720p60fps so if you're planning on overclocking get the 2600k if not get a haswell.. the amd can also do the job but 1080p60fps is not something you really want.

my upload is 25 mb/s so there is no problem for me with upload.
I can OC my CPU, why not? And i think that haswell is too expensive for me atm ;(
thats why i ask and im just thinking about 8320 is that worth or not u know i can wait some time if i can just feel difference between i7 or this amd/i5

The question isn't about upload, but watchability. 1080p60 sounds sexy, but the fact of the matter is that Flash does a terrible job playing it back on many people's computers. Flash is just a huge hog when playing video, and 1080p60 is the most demanding of people's systems to just watch it. If you want people to actually be able to watch your stream, don't do 1080p60.

I recommend 1.25 downscale to 864p, it plays back smoothly, and isn't that much worse visually than 1080p, especially with using either the Bicubic or Lanczos filters.

ok sounds good but now with one CPU is better for this job?
I want just buy CPU cheap and good for that role thats why im asking for it ;]
i know that partnered ppl have resolutions downscale so they can stream 1080p@60 fps
so i just want to know better cpu for this role, i want to play my games with 60+ fps and stream them too it is hard decision for me atm ;/
for now im thinking of 2600k u guys think that CPU can handle streaming + smooth gaming?

Mine does. I've got mine overclocked to 4.6ghz, but if you just stick with 720p60fps you won't need to OC nearly that much, if at all.

I'm using an i5-760, which also is quite old by now (was introduced Q3 2k10) and it has no issues whatsoever doing 1080p @ 30Hz. More than CPU, you should be concerned with synergy. Don't just get the best CPU you can afford, make sure you have the most synergy in your system you can afford. A good CPU on a shit motherboard will perform not nearly as well as it could be capable of. Vice versa, an average CPU on a good motherboard will in fact surprise you with what it can do.

Anyhow... the i5-2400 is a good CPU and would be my first choice between the 2.
