Hello, I currently have a laptop and have tried recording games like Minecraft with OBS, however since it is a laptop, the game lags tremendously and it is difficult to fix it. I am no expert on computers, coding, etc. so I would appreciate it if someone could help me out to say what would be a good PC to purchase so I can record games like Minecraft and put it on Youtube. I would like to spend less than $1,000 on this PC, but if the price has to go up it is fine although I prefer to stay under the $1,000 mark. If you mention things such as i5 or other names if you have recommendations can you please explain or give some information about what that part would do to help the PC so that my recordings can get better and more functional. (Since I am new to PC terms and functions). Thank You.

You may just need to change some settings in your existing setup. Post a log of a recording.
Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...
OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...
