What OBS Versions are NVENC Compatible with my Graphics Driver?

The version I have of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti is File Version 27.21.14.5751. Device Details dates it back to (C) 2020.

Only made this account for this question, so sorry if I don't reply back for a while.

Just asking, since whenever I click "Start Recording" on the current version, it says that the NVENC chip isn't compatible with my graphics driver. I don't know what version that's compatible with this driver, and I'm willing to scroll down the GitHub versions list to downgrade as long as it works.

Could also be that OBS didn't detect it, but I doubt that since I've never had a program unable to find it before.

Not really a PC builder person, so apologies if that causes any issues.

Go to the driver download website from Nvidia, enter your graphics card details, and download the latest driver. Your model is still supported, so install the lastest driver and OBS will again work with nvenc.

Like I said, something isn't working with the latest version for me. Thanks for the reassurance, though.

Hey, were you able to fix this? I'm having the exact same problem; I haven't tried going live with the latest drivers (550+) since they freeze OBS if I try to add a camera. I have the v522 drivers installed now, camera works but it doesn't allow me to go live.

10-series cards are compatible with the current 551.86 version of the nvidia drivers.
I had those exact drivers installed, it was freezing OBS if I tried opening a video device, but I reinstalled them and it seems to be working fine now. I did try testing the camera on a webpage before testing, though. I'll check if it freezes when I first try using it on OBS in another session and edit this later. Either way, looks like the problem's solved. Thanks everyone. :)

I'm using Studio Driver 522.30 with OBS v30.0.2 with absolutely no issues. You may also use the Game Ready Driver 522.25 with 30.0.2.
