Hi, i've just tried monitor capture and I get the below second attachment, where it seems multiple windows open inside each other like when you look in a mirror and a mirror is behind that mirror. Same thing happened when i used a video capture device and it is hooked up to my hdmi port of my laptop(same laptop being used for obs). How do i fix/prevent this?

OBS is showing your monitor and your monitor is showing OBS. What do you expect to happen? :)

You can't, as long as OBS is on the monitor that you're capturing. It's not a big deal, it just looks funny. It's not a thing that needs to be fixed, just OBS operating as expected. Is it causing a problem?

Yeah, it looks odd, so any workarounds, like using a different monitor from my laptop?

You could move OBS to a different monitor than the one you're capturing, if you have another one. Alternatively, if you're only trying to capture a particular window instead of the whole monitor, you can use Window capture instead. What method are you currently using to capture your monitor?

Is it a problem, though? I don't understand why this kind of thing needs a "workaround".
