i was wondering what component would be the best to upgrade and how much it would help stream quality. if someone would take the time to take a look i would appreciate it.

my specs are
i7 2600k 3.4ghz
8 gb ram
gtx 460 se (2x in sli)
50 download 10 upload

p.s i also have a hhd hard drive, would i see any improvement if i got an ssd hard drive?

thx

An SSD would be a great general upgrade but it wouldn't improve your stream performance. Maybe pick up an aftermarket HSF/water cooling system and overclock your CPU a bit if you feel comfortable doing that? Otherwise I don't really see any upgrades worth making at this point that would significantly benefit your stream, short of building a separate encoding box.

its your gpu and especially your sli config there have been a lot threads about it that sli is pretty derp for streaming apparently

amd released their new series a few days ago you get the 280x which is literally equal to an 7970 for the price of like 220 bucks and nvidia got a cheap budget card for 200 bucks which would be a gtx 760 but remember the 7970 is top of the line gpu of amd

A video card upgrade would be good in general but probably wouldn't improve his stream performance either, unless he is having performance issues specifically with SLI.

CPU probably biggest bottleneck. 2600k is *very* overclockable. Look into that, there shouldn't be a need for you to upgrade anything.

thanks for the replies guys :P

im afraid of frying my cpu because im nub at overclocking. idk much about temperatures and whatnot.

sli been annoying me so i was thinking about getting a single card. where do you buy them that cheap, the only ones i found were $300.

i was getting alot of motion blur when i move my screen so i thought i could get rid of it somehow by upgrading. i thought chose pretty good parts back when i put my pc together so i dint no what to upgrade.

2600k is a legit cpu doesnt really run into any problems for normal streaming usage and with an decent 50bucks aftermarket cooler from noctua for example you can oc your cpu to 4,2 ghz without a problem if the chipset of your motherboard supports it obviously.

also where are you from?

Yeah, just invest in a solid cooler to deal with increased heat. Sandy Bridge is actually ridiculously easy to overclock. You can almost always overclock to 4.2Ghz on the 2600k by only raising the multiplier, with no need to adjust voltages or anything manually.
