Question / Help What is the BEST (Quality) capture card on the market?

Well.... the compressed mp4 files look sharp on my computer and only a little fuzzy on youtube so I'm happy with that. If ever streaming and uploading became my livelihood I could buy a better gaming PC and streaming PC to play the games at 4k, capture them in 4k, and upload them in 4k. Thanks for the info though :)

@Boildown You get the VP9 with every resolution, BUT the 2048x1152 fills the least necessary height of 1152 pixels to get their 1440p preset encoding, which has 10 mbit bitrate instead just 3,5 mbit.
a significant difference in quality. Especially with the vp9 codec's efficiency.
The next big step is getting their 4k encoding which begins at 1750 pixels height. So a 3200x1800 for example would give you a bitrate of 15mbit. pre july 2016 it even was a quantizer encode, but they reduced it to 15mbit cap afterwards :(

Hello everyone I know it has been awhile but I thought I would update you.. I bought an AverMedia Live Gamer HD 2 recently because of their awesome black Friday sale ($99 when it's $209). I've always loved AverMedia and used the first generation card for almost 3 years. So far the card has been amazing and I have no complaints. It looks great while I stream on Twitch @ 1080p 60... Only thing I wish I could do is put my cpu preset to medium like I used to with 720p 60. My PC can only handle 1080p @ 60 with the veryfast preset which isn't a deal breaker considering I think it looks a hell of a lot better. Ill probably spoil myself soon and get a better CPU so I can achieve the medium preset (I have an i7 4790k atm) or maybe I just need to finally overclock this thing and see if it would make a difference >:) anyways enough of the ramble here's my latest vod on twitch. (Keep in mind this is raw with no filters added on in OBS / 6000 bitrate) -
