What is best crystal Clear 1080p quality setting????

I have been using these settings.
I record in mkv format then I remux/convert to mp4 before I upload to youtube.

then when I watch videos weeks later as I'm editing videos before publishing, I see these pixelations in the video forming during battles of total war attila on the battle map...they appear and disappear in a matter of seconds...

what in the Hell, is causing youtube videos to do this?

All of my recordings before I uploaded them to youtube were crystal clear...

YouTube does not playback your lossless uploads losslessly. It re-encodes them to multiple lossy formats.

then they need to fix their lack of crap and make it lossless.

You need to have realistic expectations for a free streaming provider. Some people upscale their content so it uses a better, but still lossy, encoder.
