Question / Help What is a custom muxer setting?

I have trouble on what that does, its a simple text box that lets you to put anything on it, It doesn't tell what will it do when you put something there, for example: crf=15, there is no options in that box that you can pick from. There isn't even a library of stuff that does something you can put there,

There's enough things in there that can massively break things that you basically shouldn't touch it.

So basically, the software itself is not 100% completed? (as in, even if its core values are in, and all the features necessary is done), it still needs some work?

No. As in the custom settings that most people recommend for that option break things because the people recommending them don't know what they're actually doing.

Well, it would be nice if we didn't need to rely on suggestions, but there's no information whatsoever. I don't even know what syntax to use, much less what options could I change.
I wonder if I can get OBS to record full range RGB utvideo with custom muxing/video option. But there's actually zero information to go by.
