Question / Help What do you recommend to upgrade for a stream (CPU / GPU)?

Hello,
I would like to ask you what I should upgrade to improve the quality of the stream. I would like to stream in 1080p in 60 FPS while playing a game. Dual PC I do not plan.

What I asked was that the upgrade of the GPU would not make much sense in my case, because I would improve about 5% (if I upgraded to GTX 1050).

My current PC:
PSU: EVGA 500B, 80+ bronze, 500W
CPU: Intel Core i5-6500
RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 2133
MB: MSI B150 GAMING M3 - Intel B150
GPU: ASUS GTX950-OC-2GD5, 2GB GDDR5

Thank you for your answers.

Nothing, use either QuickSync or NVENC.

Any upgrade that would improve quality would require you to use x264, any processor capable of good quality x264 @ 1080p60 will require a new motherboard, faster ram and of course the processor. So essentially an entire new computer, and well over $1200 US, then the GPU on top of that.

Focus on improving your gaming experience and audio, your PC is not worth upgrading individual parts. The only part that would realistically carry over to a new PC would be the GPU, that is the only part I would recommend upgrading, but not to a 1050, not worth it.

Going from a 950 to say a 1070, thats huge, 950 to 1050, pointless. Even 950 to 1060 is a poor investment.

I use quicksync but i got aan i3-4130 3.40ghz Intel HD 4400 6gb RAM 2hdd drives

Thanks for answers.

I have an idea. What if I build a really cheap PC only for streaming? I know it's old technology, but it's going to use only for live broadcasting.

CPU: AMD Vishera FX-8300 (4GB DDR3, SSD 120 Gb, without GPU) video shared through OBS NewTek NDI™. I think integrated graphics will be enough.

What do you think of that?

u got already a GOOD pc but the settings for it needs to be changed u can watch how to optimize pc or something else on YT

Nice :). What would you recommend for me? As I say, I only need it pc for live broadcasting (1080p with 60 FPS). Thanks for your answer.

uhm...well u got good internet speed (i think) if u got around 3500kbps upload speed i will recommend (QUICKSYNC OR x264 maybe nvench) use VBR or VCM if u are streeaming to YT i got for myself 1300 - 2500 for VBR with quicksync that works fine for me
u can ofcourse change it i think at your opionion on 1600 - 3200
