Hi, everyone. I'm new to Open Broadcaster Software. I need professional advice. I have a acer aspire one 722 laptop and I'm encountering the dreaded black screen. And every forum I went to discussing the black screen says you need a capture card for OBS to capture. Well, following that, what capture card do you guys think I should get that is compatible with the acer aspire one 722?

Hilalpro is right, that laptop is awful.
And a capture card isn't necessary at all, if you still want to try to use it. Unfortunately, it is an AMD laptop, which has a lot of driver issues. You will have to use Window or Monitor capture with compatibility mode enabled in order to capture games, as game capture will not work.
