Question / Help What are the best settings for my OBS

When I used my old OBS to capture some gameplay I had no lag, but I reinstalled OBS because I removed it accidentally, now I lost all my custom settings, and I don't remember the settings anymore because I got it from a tutorial, and i can't find the tutorial anymore. Every tutorial I used for an attempt to record smooth gameplay, gave my gameplay lag.

The problem is that I play my game without lag, but when I watch the gameplay it contains a lot of lag, like I see 1 frame in 3/4 seconds.

But I thought: Why still search for a tutorial when I can get help from people who understand OBS on the forums?

Does somebody know the ideal OBS Settings for my laptop?

Packard Bell Easynote TJ76 Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i3 330-M
GPU: ATI Radeon Mobility HD5470
RAM: 4 GB
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate

I know I have a low middle-class laptop, but I also know I can capture smooth gameplay with it, because I recorded a lot of gameplay in the past with it.

Ideally you're going to want to switch to OBS studio and use simple output mode, indistinguishable recording quality, software low cpu use encoder.

In settings - output
Set output mode to simple
Recording quality to indistinguishable
Encoder to the Software one with "Low CPU use" in the description.

It still shows a lot of lag, but less than normal, this is already at an Indie game with bad graphics called: ''Insert Title Here''

When I record with fraps, it has no lag, I don't know then why I have lag on OBS Studio?
