Question / Help Went from amazing recording and streaming- to unbalanced FPS and Encoding problems.

Hello everyone.

So I had got a new PC about almost 9-10 months ago, probably even for about a year. I had downloaded OBS and began recording videos and even streaming, which actually turned out very well at first! Of course I do not have an amazing PC, it runs Overwatch at 50 fps at most with low settings, however with other games such as Elsword, Maplestory, GMOD, Cuphead, things work perfectly normal.

Then about one month ago, my roommate had bought a new modem for cheap...

My old bandwidth for my old modem was as followed:

Ping: 9, Download Speed: 30.54, Upload Speed: 11.23

This is my current bandwidth for my new modem:

Ping: 11, Download Speed: 18.39, Upload Speed: 11(approx.)

It doesn't seem TOO bad, however once I started recording and stream (keep in mine, same settings) my streams began to bug out and drop frames like crazy! It would work for about 10 seconds, then everything would freeze!

I told my roommate if they could put in the new modem, but he had already sold it to someone else.

I had gotten upset, but then I went to buy a Router.

The new bandwidth is now:

Ping: 12, Download: 78, Upload: 12.

I thought this would be pretty good, maybe (didn't do too much research on how this works please forgive me).

However.... things have not changed, I am still running at the same crappy FPS drops for no reason. Currently I am doing bitrate tests for recordings and seeing which one is the best, however I do need some help, thanks!

Here are my specs for my PC.

System Man: Acer
System Model: Aspire TC-710
Processor: Inter i5-6500 CPU Core
Hard Drive: 2 TB
Graphics Card: Intel HD graphics 530
Memory: 8GB

Hopefully this helps

OH BEFORE I FORGET! This is a pre-buildt PC, I tried to take it apart and put in a different graphics card when I got it... was unable too so whoops on my part. If you need any more info lmk
