Question / Help Weird Pixellation Issue with QuickSync

OK, so with OBS, I'm recording with QuickSync H.264 and I'm having a ton of issues. Firstly, when I record with x264, it lags uncontrollably in the output, but not in the game, even though it didn't use to when I used the same settings a few days ago on the same update. Because of this, I'm using QuickSync, which is giving me more issues. I'm still getting the output lag, but this time, it's worse. While I'm recording, the video randomly goes grey and pixelated for around 3 seconds at a time, and I have no say in when this happens, again, this only happens in the output and not the game. I've been playing with the settings a bit too and the only thing I can't fix is the pixellation.

Hey man, recently I upgraded my CPU to the i7 8700k with 4.9GHZ OC. Since then I'Ve been trying out Quicksync instead of Nvenc for PUBG Recordings since I drop a lot of frames / lags with pubg ( Gtx 1070). due to GPU being fully used so it cant render recording smoothly.

When using quicksync I also noticed strange pixelations, but after rendering / encoding it in handbrake to x264 it was gone, or at least I couldnt really see any pixelation anymore.

I was thinking its cause of my OC of the cpu, even tho stresstests and other stuffl is solid. But since u have the same problem im guessing its caused by something else.

I've uploaded 2 screens, thats what happens to my recordings. As you can see temps, fps etc are fine.

i7 8700k 4.9GHz
GTX 1070
AsRock Z370 Extreme 4
Win 10 64bit
Latest quicksync version and newest OBS version.
