So after weeks and weeks of having this audio - video sound delay, and random complete sound cutoffs, I figured out the cause of it, my webcam.
The logitech C920, one of the more popular webcams for streaming, is there reason why for some odd reason, I was having my sound go out for a second or so every 5 min, and was also the cause of the webcam - microphone audio delay.
Everytime I removed the webcam from sources, everything was perfect. As soon as I put the webcam back in, immediately my sound would cut out, and the delay wold begin.
Funny enough, my father downstairs has just started using the C920 for skype, so the stream can see his video when we're in different rooms. However, since this change, his ASTRO headset has been fuzzy, cutting out, and choppy to the point where he can't hear anything. As soon as he closes skype (so his webcam isn't active) everything goes back to normal.
I'm not sure if it's interference with ASTRO headsets, or something of the like but I figured I'd share my solution to those who somehow happen to have the same problem lol.
