I have kind of a weird question, I almost only stream NES-Games, since I speedrun one of them, never any problems at all. A week ago I thought I would try to stream something different (have done that in the past, like a year ago without any problem using obs-studio) , I now mostly use SLOBS but I have tried everything I can think of to solve this using obs-studio as well, so no matter the streaming software I use, I get these problems, tested many different games to stream, including very low demanding games, like a minigolf game on steam for example.. But no matter what I try to stream, my fps in SLOBS(OR obs-studio) drops down to like 7 or so right away and everything becomes super-laggy and unwatchable.. I have tried with game capture, window capture, display capture, exact same thing on all of them.. I have a laptop that stands here on a chair, and I have a TV pluged into the hdmi-port and use that as my main display (having obs open on the laptop screen itself to read chat and everything.) And I have noticed that.., when I have my mouse at the laptop screen, like if I want to type something in chat, or add a source for example, the lag mentioned earlier does not exist on my main screen or the laptop one anymore! And the fps counter on stays at 30..! But as SOON as I move my mouse over the TV, click once or whatever, to actually try and play my game, the problems start right away with the fps going down in the single digits.. Im so sorry for this REALLY long text, just wanted to put it out there and see if maybe anyone has any ideas..? Thank you in advance..!
