Bug Report Webcamera glitching with tearing of image

Sometimes the image just jumps with tearing, sometimes there's a white flash at the background (no demo available now).

Camera source st scene is inverted by x and y (it's hanging upside down, so had to do it to look normally).
Filters used: Crop (relative), Image Mask/Blend (Alpha Channel), Chroma Key, Color Correction.

It happens with different intervals from once per 15 seconds to once per 2-5 minutes.

Why is that so? Is there a way to fix this?

Does the webcam freeze up in other programs like Google Hangouts or Skype? Looks more like a cam issue since the rest of the stream didn't freeze.

I just stopped using that webcam and switched to a camcorder with capture card. When I use it now occasionally, I don't notice such bugs. Maybe try another usb port. Try updating your usb drivers:
