Question / Help Webcam?

Okay, call me dumb if you wish for doing this. So a couple days ago I got the error of OBS not opening so I looked up tutorials of how to fix it (this was before I knew this forum existed believe me or not). The guy said to delete the OBS file folder so I did and obs opened still and functioned. Only problems were that the microphone got crap quality and the capture "Webcam" was gone. Both annoy me, so any help? Mainly microphone, I can live without a webcam but I want my webcam back too

It deleted all of your settings. You need to set them up again, and add the webcam source back in just like the first time you'd set it up.

Well I mean that the webcam is NOT a source but good news is I fixed mic on my own turns out my pc setting for microphone were at lowest.

Webcams are added as video capture device sources.

Odd, considering that mine was a regular source in its own originally, was there an update that did that since December?

No. Webcams, capture cards, etc. have always been added as video capture devices.
