Good morning from Italy,
I added the Google Chrome "window" source with a Google Meet meeting in progress.
I start recording.
While registering for OBS, I move to Firefox and then to the meeting in progress.
I go to see the video generated by the recording and I realize that when I moved to Firefox, the audio of the meeting could be heard and you could also see the meeting window with all the controls, the only thing I do not see is the webcam. It's like webcam sharing stopped during the time I moved to Firefox.
I honestly don't know if this is a Google Meet or OBS problem.

You're right, they removed that option.

Try this instead

Try this now:
- Right click the Chrome shortcut. Click Properties.

- In the Target address, it will show an address in quotation marks. After the right quotation mark, type --disable-backgrounding-occluded-windows (with the space at the front... and make sure you're using a double dash)

- Click Apply, then Ok
