I know this is not an original issue, but for all the posts and resources out there, I cannot find a solution...
I have been trying to find out what options best work for my computer - which doesn't even have a dedicated GPU card, sadly. From Facebook Live, to XSplit, Elgato Game Capture HD... Now I'm trying to, yet again, set up my OBS and while working on getting the stream key from Facebook Live and the URL plugged into OBS, the webcam display in the preview suddenly goes red shortly after opening the preview window on Facebook Live.
I've closed out the Facebook browser, I have closed OBS, deleted entire scenes in OBS, quadruple-checked that the parameters on OBS are, indeed, referencing my laptop's built-in Acer camera... I have closed out all other programs and ensured that even my Elgato device is not connected.
Nothing works via OBS. Strangely, Facebook Live still previews my webcam just fine (and I presume my other programs will, too, if I tried). Any suggestions?
