Question / Help Webcam Recording - Streaming Help!

Hello, all

I have a question I want to stream with games and the webcam but I only want to record the webcam to save on my pc for later use.

I was wondering could I open up 2 open broadcasters one for recording webcam and the other for stream with webcam and game. If not how would I go of recording my gameplay along with my webcam. I am using avermedia LGHD stream for recording the video footage and sound.

You can't record the same webcam with two different programs at the same time. However, one thing you could try is to open two instances of OBS by adding the "-multi" flag to the end of the target, record the game in one and the webcam and the other, and then window capture the preview of the webcam OBS to put it into the gaming OBS. Certainly a hack, but it might work.
